Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, I was unable to cancel the hosting account before “one.com” had automatically, and without advance notification, renewed and invoiced the future hosting charges for a further 12 months - 45 days before the actual renewal date.

Furthermore take note that they demand payment in compliance with their terms & conditions - irrespective of the personal circumstances involved. (I wonder what they’d have done if I’d died back in 2007?)

Hopefully this note will remain visible until the 18th June 2009 (the date to which I have paid for the ‘hosting’ that I don’t need nor want) and may serve as a cautionary warning to others considering the use of one.com as a hosting service.
